Three arrested, charged for Lynn Grove burglary

Three people have been arrested in relation to a burglary that happened on Sunday.

The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary in the Lynn Grove area of the county on Sunday, April 22nd. Deputy Danny Williams responded to the location with the property owner. It was discovered that a White Chevrolet S-10 truck with camper topper pulling a two wheel trailer had made several trips to and from the home earlier in the week. Deputy Williams located the vehicle in question on patrol. He made contact with the owner and discovered that it had been loaned to someone else for use.

31 year-old Billy Reed, of Almo, and 22 year-old Joshua Corn, of Murray, were revealed to be involved. Both were charged with receiving stolen property valued under $10,000. Further investigation revealed that 22 year-old Gabriel Martin, of Murray, was also involved in the incident. He was arrested on Monday and lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center. He was also charged with receiving stolen property valued under $10,000.

Most of the property taken was recovered and returned to the original owner. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are pending.

Sheriff Bill Marcum would like to remind everyone that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
