Second autopsy performed on Pravin Varughese

A second autopsy has been performed on SIU student Pravin Varughese.

Varughese was initially reported missing back in February, and it took more than a week to find his body. His mother, Lovely, says the pathologist will release the final results from this and the other autopsy in about two weeks. She was told there was no injury found on his body. She also said they verbally explained to her that the autopsy results are with the state’s attorney for reviewing.

The Varughese family has hired a criminal lawyer as they continue investigating Pravin’s death on their own.

The Carbondale Police Department said they could not confirm anything about this autopsy.
