Five homes severely damaged in Union City storms

At least five homes in the Woodland Mills area in Union City, Tennessee were damaged during Monday night’s severe storms.

Five homes received heavy damage from high winds and heavy rain. All of the homes are located on Garrigan Road in Union City, Tennessee. Officials say the worst injury anyone received from the storms required only band-aid to treat.

Obion County Sheriff Jerry Vastbinder said that the storms came out of no where. He also said the five houses are primarily where the damage was focused. Sheriff Vastbinder said everyone involved was very lucky to escape the significant damage without serious injuries.
