Webb has another strong outing as Chicago falls to Houston

Former Heath standout Daniel Webb has been an ace out of the bullpen for the Chicago White Sox in the first month and a half of the season. He’s tied for the team lead with three wins, he hasn’t lost a game, and opponents are hitting just .235 against him.

Webb had another strong outing on Saturday night, allowing just two hits and no runs while striking out two batters in an inning and two-thirds against Houston. While the White Sox lost 6-5, Webb lowered his ERA to 2.78 for the season.
