Graves County man hit by car
Police in Graves County, Kentucky say a man was injured Thursday night when he was hit by a car.
Graves County Deputy Jason Harpole says 27-year-old Steven Holmes was walking westbound in the westbound lane of Macedonia Street when he was struck by a car driven by 29-year-old Jermel Williams.
Williams told police he didn’t see Holmes until he had hit him. Holmes was taken Jackson Purchase Medical Center before being transported to a hospital in Nashville, Tenn. As of Friday morning, police say Holmes’ condition is unknown.
Police say the investigation into the incident is continuing and charges are pending.
