Carbondale police: Man shot Saturday morning

Carbondale police is investigating two calls of shots fired Saturday morning.  Officers first responded around 12:15 am to a home in the 700 block of W. Cherry Street, but no one was hit and there are no known injuries.

Officers got a second call around 2:00 am about shots fired at a home in the 500 block of W. Cherry Street in reference to a report of gun shots. Officers learned a 23 year-old man had suffered a non life threatening gunshot wound. Both calls are under investigation.
