Livingston County Sheriff’s Department: Man forces way into estranged wife’s vehicle and steals it

A Smithland, Kentucky man was arrested after he allegedly forced his way into and stole his estrange wife’s vehicle.

The woman told the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department that her estranged husband, 46-year-old Timothy Chittenden forced his way into her vehicle and forced her to drive to a location in Smithland.

Once at the location, Chittenden wouldn’t allow his estranged wife to leave. She was eventually able to get away from him on foot.
