Grand jury returns 5-felony indictment against Ryan Champion

A grand jury in Trigg County, Kentucky has returned a 5-count felony indictment against Ryan Champion in connection with the deaths of his family – Lindsey, Joy and Emily Champion – and another man, Vito Riservato.

Ryan Champion was indicted Wednesday morning on three counts of murder by complicity, one count of murder and one count of kidnapping.

An arraignment has been set for December 10 at 1 p.m.

Police previously charged Champion with four counts of capital murder and one count of capital kidnapping in the deaths of his parents Lindsey and Joy Champion, his sister Emily and Vito Riservato. Their bodies were found at the Champions’ home on Sunday, October 26.

Champion remains in jail on a $5 million bond.
