Local sheriff injured in crash
Livingston County Sheriff Bobby Davidson is in the hospital following a crash.
A deputy tells Local 6 that Davidson was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. on U.S. 60 West in Crittenden County, Kentucky.
Investigators say 37-year-old Katrina Lynch of Salem swerved to avoid a deer, lost control of her car, and drove into the path of Davidson’s SUV.
Lynch and two children in her car were hospitalized. A passenger in Davidson’s SUV was also taken to the hospital.
Davidson was off-duty at the time of the crash
