Paducah police arrest man who broke into southside home

UPDATE:  Paducah Police arrested Nance Friday.

A Paducah man is being sought by police for allegedly breaking into a southside home and threatening the people inside.

A woman told Paducah Police that around 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning she heard a noise at her back door, and when she went to check she found 27-year-old Jamal Nance standing in the kitchen.

The woman said Nance went into a bedroom and threatened a man and another woman with two handguns. Nance then allegedly assaulted the second woman and fought with the man.

According to police, the incident was over an on-going dispute with a member of the man’s family.

Nance has been charged with Wanton Endangerment, Burglary, Assault, and Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon.
