1. Protests against police killings in Missouri and New York continued this weekend. In Berkeley, CA protests turned violent as some demonstrators shut down a freeway and looted buildings.

2. Paducah Power System’s board will meet today. They’re expected to discuss a report that found they are not eligible for Chapter 9 bankruptcy.

3. The Orion spacecraft travels to San Diego, CA today. The crew on board the USS Anchorage recovered Orion Sunday after ir orbited the Earth twice.

4. There’s an increasing need for foster homes in Southern Illinois. There are currently 86 open homes but nearly 300 kids need a home.

5. Typhoon Hagupit killed at least dozens of people as it crossed the Philippines. It’s been downgraded to a Tropical Storm as Hagupit Heads for Manila.

6.  Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear will visit Paducah today. She’s announcing how much money you helped raise for “Horses for Hope” by buying pink light bulbs.
