Overnight closure on Eggners Ferry Bridge

Drivers who frequently use the Eggners Ferry Bridge will have to find another route Friday evening.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a overnight closure of the bridge on Friday, December 12th.

The bridge will be closed at 9:00 p.m. and expected to be reopen to traffic at 5:00 a.m., Saturday morning.

KYTC officials say crews need to close the old bridge to work on the new bridge connecting Marshall and Trigg counties in western Kentucky.
