Two kidnapped girls found

Two girls who were kidnapped from their home have been reunited with their family.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, 9-year-old Corbyn Erwin and 7-year-old Celsie Erwin were taken from their home Sunday evening and thought to be with their step-father, 37-year-old Damon Jones of Johnston City.

An Amber Alert was issued for the girls, and thanks to several calls, law enforcement was led to the area of Crab Orchard Lake and Lake of Egypt.

A deputy searching in the area spotted Jones’ vehicle at King Tut’s convenience store.

Jones was taken into custody without incident and the girls were reunited with their family at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

Jones has been charged with Kidnapping, Aggravated Kidnapping, and Possession of Methamphetamine. His bond is set at $2 million, or $200,000 cash.
