Be On The Lookout: Deputies searching for wanted suspect

In this week’s Be On The Lookout, deputies need your help catching a suspect already on parole and with numerous criminal convictions.

McCracken County sheriff’s deputies are searching for 25-year-old Terry Scates Jr. He’s described as 6 feet tall, 180 lbs. He’s currently wanted on multiple charges, including: Violation of a Kentucky Emergency Protective Order; 1st Degree Criminal Trespass; Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree; Theft.

Scates is accused of forcing his way into a Paducah home in early November, and stealing and damaging property belonging to the petitioner of an active Kentucky Emergency Protective Order, of which he was the respondent.

Scates is currently on parole, with numerous criminal convictions including: Tampering with a Witness, Terroristic Threatening, Criminal Trespass 1st Degree, Violation of a Ky EPO, numerous Contempt of Courts, Fleeing or Evading Police, drug charges, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
