Calloway County woman arrested for arson

A house fire lead to the arrest of a Hazel, Kentucky woman.

Kentucky State Police was called to a suspicious house fire on Gilbert Street in Hazel on Monday. After a brief investigation, the cause of the fire was determined to be arson.

37-year-old Lidia Davison of Hazel was arrested and charged with Arson, Criminal Mischief, and Wanton Endangerment. Davison was lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Trooper Jay Thomas tells Local 6 that Davison is not the homeowner but was living there.

The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
