Ambulance services to continue in Fulton

Ambulance services in Fulton and Hickman Counties in Kentucky, plus South Fulton, Tennessee, will continue in 2015.

City and County leaders came to a new agreement with Twin Cities Ambulance Services on Monday.

The concern for emergency care in the area came after Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton announced it would close emergency care centers March 31st.

There is a difference in the new deal, either side can withdraw from the contract with just two months notice.

The extension of service is for one year, starting January 1st.
