Defense files motions in Keith Griffith case

Defense attorneys for Keith Griffith, the man accused of burning down his home and killing his wife, have filed new motions in the case.

The defense filed them on Thursday, the last day to file motions.

The motions ask the court to exclude 19 items from the evidence list; including Griffith’s reaction to the loss of his wife, the pictures of his wife’s autopsy, and a handgun the Kentucky State Crime Lab said was not the murder weapon.

Griffith’s trial is set to begin February 2nd.
