Two men arrested for allegedly selling Meth

Two men have been arrested for allegedly selling Methamphetamine.

Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department received information that illegal drug activities were occurring at 208 Locke Boulevard in McCracken County.

A search warrant was executed at the home on Thursday. Two men were in the front yard of the home. They were 42-year-old Caspar Chesnutt of Paducah and 39-year-old Michael Shaffer of Benton. Both were arrested after Methamphetamine smoking pipes were found on them.

Inside the home, detectives found Methamphetamine, digital scales, and more than $10,000 cash believed to be from illegal drug sales.

An investigation found that both men had been selling Methamphetamine for months. Both were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Chesnutt is charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Drug Paraphernalia.

Shaffer is charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.
