Current Du Quoin State Fair Manager to be replaced

Bruce Rauner became the Governor of Illinois on Monday and he is already clearing out a number of Pat Quinn’s appointees.

Du Quoin State Fair Manager Shannon Woodworth says he received a letter on Friday that he was being let go as fair manager effective January 31st.

Woodworth says after 15 years working at the fair he is disappointed by the move, but he would help his successor get up to speed.
