Law enforcement officers pay tribute to Bob Caskey

Law enforcement officers from all over our area paid tribute to one of their own Wednesday morning.

Bob Caskey passed away Saturday evening after battling cancer. He was a Livingston County D.A.R.E. officer.

The funeral procession traveled with police and sheriff’s cars as escorts to Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, south of Lone Oak.

Caskey was laid to rest with a full honor guard ceremony. During the graveside service, there is a tradition called “final call” on their police radios.

Caskey worked in Mayfield, Graves, McCracken as well as Livingston Counties. He served our area for 27 years. He was 67-years-old.
