Autopsy completed on body found in wooded area

An autopsy has been completed on a woman who was found deceased in a wooded area.

47-year-old Teresa Henderson was reported missing on Sunday, November 30th. Her body was found the next day in a wooded area near Mobile Ranch.

An autopsy completed by the Jackson County Coroner’s Office found that Henderson died from Environmental Hypothermia, but that the manner of death is undetermined.

Blood tests were negative for alcohol, toxins, and drugs.

There were multiple cuts and bruises on Henderson’s body. The coroner says they are consistent with a recent assault or injury but they were superficial and did not contribute to her death.
