Coffee and tea company excited to move into Coke plant

We’re getting a closer look at what will be offered at a future local coffee and tea house.

Pipers Tea & Coffee hope to open at the Coke plant by the end of February.

A joint owner of Pipers says they will offer a variety of tea and coffee.

We also asked if they would offer any food.

“A lot of people have been asking about scones, not ready for crumpets just yet. We’ll see about the future,”  said Peter Barnett, joint owner of Pipers Tea & Coffee.

Barnett also says they are excited about moving into the old Coke plant and are even working on a few future projects with their neighbor, Dry Ground Brewing Company.
