School district investigating spending

A spending investigation is underway at the Calloway County School District.

The district’s Superintendent Steve Hoskins tells Local 6 that they’re internally looking at overspending in the football program.

The district’s Technology Coordinator John McMillen says the amount is about $30,000.

The district is also looking for a new head coach for their football team. Hoskins says Brad Lawson resigned for health reasons.
