The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration organized by the Paducah/McCracken County Chapter of the NAACP will be held on January 19th.

The celebration will start with a march for the laying of the wreath at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. monument.

The march will start at 10:15 a.m. at the Robert Cherry Civic Center and head east on Park Avenue to the monument on Martin Luther King Drive.

There will be a police escort and a vehicle for those who would rather ride than walk.
