Stolen trailer found dumped at boat ramp

Paducah Police are looking for a maroon truck caught on video surveillance dumping a stolen trailer.

The stolen trailer was found Friday morning by a police officer at the city’s new boat ramp.

The trailer was stolen on December 1st from Buzzi Unicem.

A Paducah/McCracken County E911 Dispatcher remembered she had not seen the trailer in the parking lot when she looked over the surveillance video early Thursday afternoon.

The dispatcher and the Assistant 911 Director began reviewing video from Noon on Thursday through 8:00 a.m. on Friday.

The surveillance cameras caught a maroon pickup truck pulling into the parking lot with the trailer just after 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The video shows a passenger getting out of the truck and unhooking the trailer. The truck then leaves the parking lot.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at (270) 444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at 443-TELL.
