Stolen guns found in Charleston homes

Twelve stolen guns were recovered by Charleston, Missouri police last week.

On Thursday, January 29th, officers were called to a burglary in progress in the 600 block of Naomi Street.

The suspects were gone when officers arrived, but they were able to track them down in their vehicle.

An adult was arrested, but a juvenile ran away. He was caught a short time later.

The next day, officers executed six search warrants. Inside the homes they found 12 stolen guns, 2 stolen TVs, electronics, and miscellaneous items.

Four adults and seven juveniles face a variety of burglary and theft related charges.
