Republican governor candidates to speak to Kentucky Realtors
Kentucky’s Republican candidates for governor will answer questions from the Kentucky Association of Realtors on Tuesday.
James Comer, Hal Heiner, Matt Bevin and Will T. Scott have been invited to speak to the association at the Embassy Suites in Lexington.
The crowded Republican field has a little over three months to separate themselves from the pack before the May 19 primary. Early polls indicate that a majority of voters have not decided who they will vote for.
Comer has the endorsements of many of the state Republican establishment. Heiner has relied on his personal wealth to air TV commercials. Bevin is known from his unsuccessful primary challenge to Sen. Mitch McConnell last year. And Scott has staked out unique policy positions, including endorsing shuttering the state’s health insurance exchange.
