Roads being pre-treated before snow falls

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews are pre-treating the roads in anticipation of snow and ice Wednesday evening.

Current forecasts show that up to an inch of snow could accumulate in parts of the Local 6 area.

Brine spray trucks will be out Tuesday and Wednesday to pre-treat as many miles of highway as possible before the snow begins to fall.

KYTC says it takes approximately two full days to pre-treat all highways.
