Calloway County motor vehicle collision with possible injuries

On February 12 at approximately 9:45 a.m., the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motor vehicle collision with possible injuries near the intersection of KY 94 East and Hico Road.

Murray Calloway County EMS, Murray Fire Department Rescue, and Calloway County Fire-Rescue were dispatched along with a deputy.

Upon arrival, the deputy found a single vehicle in a ravine.

Investigation revealed that Tracy Hopper, 44, of Murray, was eastbound on KY 94 when he swerved to miss a dog, lost control of the vehicle, and went off the roadway, coming to rest in the ravine.

Both Hopper and an infant were removed from the vehicle by emergency services personnel and transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital for treatment.
