Ag facility expanding in Hopkinsville, Kentucky

A company that produces agriculture equipment is expanding in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Governor Steve Beshear announced on Thursday that Fimco Inc., doing business as Ag Spray Equipment, is planning to consolidate production into a new Christian County facility.

The new facility will manufacture agriculture sprayers as well as smaller equipment for lawn and garden use.

The consolidation is expected to create 15 jobs.

The facility is slated to open in 2016.
