Paducah IRS office now offering appointments

The IRS is testing a new appointment-based service program in Paducah.

Instead of being served on a first-come, first-served basis, those who need help can make an appointment instead.

The IRS says not only will that reduce long lines and wait times, but it’ll also increase efficiency and improve service.

Those who would like to make an appointment at the Paducah IRS office should call (270) 443-1977 or email evansville.appointment@irs.gov.

Appointments are not necessary to pick up forms or to make payments. All other services will require an appointment.

The Paducah office is located at 2765 Wayne Sullivan Drive. It is open 9:30 a.m. – 4:03 p.m. Monday through Friday, closed from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
