German company opens up facility in Kentucky

Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear was in Murray Friday morning for the opening of an automatic supplier, iwis.

This is the first facility in the United States.

The company invested $12.5 million and added 75 new full-time jobs to the area.

The 119,000 square foot facility is located off U.S. Highway 641 North in Murray.

The company will manufacture timing drive systems for engines.
