Power services restored in Ballard County

Update 5:00 a.m. — A JPEC spokesperson said crews restored services just before 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. Crews report a bad regular caused the outage. All services are restored.

 Jackson Purchase Electric reports power outages in Ballard County Tuesday morning. Company spokesperson Iszell White said about 260 customers are affected.

Power services went off about 12:45 a.m. Crews temporarily restored services around 3;15 a.m. but it went out again immediately afterward.

White doesn’t know what caused the outage but said crews are working on it right now.
