Kentucky police officer killed in car crash

A Kentucky police officer was killed in a car crash Wednesday morning.

The officer’s cruiser was among three vehicles in a wreck in Garrard County.

The Jessamine County Emergency Management agency says Officer Burke Rhoads died from his injuries.

Rhoads served with the Nicolasville Police Department for eight years.

He leaves behind a wife and three children.
