A Williamson County man pleaded guilty to suffocating his three month old son to death.

The State’s Attorney says Brandon Vaughn was irritated by his baby’s crying after saying up all night playing video games.

Vaughn then allegedly threw a heavy comforter over his son and went outside to smoke a cigarette. When he came back inside, his son was dead.

Vaughn was charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and could face up to 14 years in prison. He will be sentenced on May 8th.
