Police looking for retail theft suspect

Murphysboro police are looking for a man suspected of stealing from a Huck’s Convenience Store.

Police say the man entered the Huck’s on 1937 Walnut Street around 2:15 a.m. on Friday, March 13th.

After talking with the clerk, the suspect allegedly took merchandise and exited without paying.

The suspect was driving what appeared to be a newer red Dodge Avenger.
