Police chief cleared in shooting

Bardwell Police Chief Brandon Marbry is cleared after he shot a suspect last week.

According to the mayor of Bardwell, the Carlisle County Grand Jury made the decision on Thursday.

Kentucky State Police say Marbry was investigating a report of a stolen vehicle when he approached Daniel Hauger who was in a car.

When Marbry told him to stop, troopers say Hauger turned the car towards him.

That’s when Marbry shot Hauger in the leg.

Hauger’s case was also presented in front of the grand jury.

We are still waiting on what they decide.
