Meth-making equipment found in home with young child

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says they found meth-making equipment at a home with a 4-year-old child inside.

Investigators say they arrested 42-year-old James Collins and 38-year-old Christy Jones at their Benton home on Thursday after stopping by with social service workers.

Inside the home, they found meth generators, liquid meth, and pseudo pills in a bedroom.

Collins and Jones have both been charged with Manufacturing Meth, Controlled Substance Endangerment to Child, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
