Portion of road closed for erosion work

A section of road in Graves County is closed for construction.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says KY 1820 is closed at the 5 mile marker near the Richardson Road intersection.

Crews are installing sheet piling to stop erosion at the end of a bridge over a branch of the Mayfield Creek.

The road is expected to reopen to traffic around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
