Carbondale police asking for information for unlawful weapon use investigation

Carbondale Police say officers made an arrest Wednesday night in the 300 block of East Walnut Street in reference to an 11:15 p.m. complaint that there was a man with a gun inside a business there. 

20-year-old Demetrius Flowers was found inside the business with a loaded firearm. He was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and no valid firearm owner’s identification card.  He was jailed in the Jackson County Jail.
