Help Wanted: Two driving positions and barge company job fair

In this week’s Help Wanted, brush off those resumes. We’re highlighting two job openings and an upcoming job fair.

The two job openings both require driving:

1.) Warehouse Manager- Purchase Area Development District (Mayfield); Commodity & Food Bank Program: The Purchase Area Development District is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Warehouse Manager for the eight counties of the Purchase area. Responsibilities will include scheduling pick up and deliveries for all commodity programs; oversee warehouse staff; oversee equipment and maintenance at warehouse; and other duties related to the distribution of the commodity food program.  Skills needed include excellent verbal and written communications, self-direction, efficiency, ability to relate to customers and other professionals. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. A current CDL license is required. A high school diploma is required. 2.) Driver- Four Rivers Behavioral Health  Paducah, KY: This person will be responsible for transporting individuals throughout a nine county area. You need a valid driver’s license. You will also need to pass an extensive pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical. Some software and mapping experience is preferred. You do not need a CDL license, but you must be able to drive a variety of multi-purpose vehicles and large vans. Training will be provided. Applicants must be 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
