Transportation Cabinet to close Kentucky 58 in Hickman County

Beginning Monday, April 6, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close Kentucky 58 in Hickman County for roughly four days.

KYTC spokesman Keith Todd announced Thursday, April 2, that the road will be closed in eastern Hickman County to work on erosion and make repairs around the Canadian National railroad overpass at mile point 19.8.  This closure along KY 58 will be in the Watts Crossing area near the Hickman-Graves County Line.

Signs will be up along the road at the Kentucky 339 intersection in Graves County and the Kentucky 307 intersection in Hickman County to alert drivers in time to look for an alternate route.

Todd says passenger vehicles can self-detour via side roads, but there’s no viable detour for trucks.  Trucks should seek an alternate route along an appropriate state highway.
