JUCO PG commits to Murray State
Bryce Jones, one of the top junior college point guards in the country, committed to Murray State on Tuesday.
On his Twitter page, Jones wrote “Proud to say I have committed to Murray State.”
The 6’1″ point guard from Jones County Junior College in Mississippi averaged 19.5 PPG, 6.1 APG and 4.0 RPG last season as a sophomore. As a freshman Jones helped lead the Bobcats to a JUCO national championship.
Jones will help fill the void left by Cameron Payne. Payne declared for the NBA Draft on Monday, and was the first sophomore in Ohio Valley Conference history to enter the draft after just two years of college.
