Local wildlife refuge looking to hire high school students
Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge is looking to hire teenagers to help with conservation projects.
The Youth Conservation Corps is a summer employment program for teenager ages 15-18. Teenagers who take part in the program will work on outdoor projects on public lands.
Employment is full time for 8 weeks during the summer and pays $8.25 an hour. Applicants should enjoy working outdoors, work well in a team, and have a desire to make a difference for wildlife.
