SIU announces finalists for chancellor position

The four finalists for the position of Southern Illinois University Carbondale chancellor will be visiting the campus in late April and early May.

All of the finalists are currently sitting provosts and will be coming to the university for interviews. They are:

– Pam Benoit, executive vice president and provost at Ohio University
– Susan M. Ford, acting provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at SIU Carbondale
– Sabah U. Randhawa, executive vice president and provost at Oregon State University
– Lawrence Schovanec, provost and senior vice president at Texas Tech University

The candidate chosen will replace Paul Sarvela who passed away last year.
