SIU student attacked, police looking for suspect

Police on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale need your help.

They say a man attacked a female student as she walked down a path on the north end of Thompson Woods.

Police sent out this tweet overnight.

They are looking for a black man with short, braided hair. He’s about 21-years-old and stand around 6’3″ tall.

Police say he was wearing all dark clothing when the attack happened around 9: 45 p.m.

The woman had minor injuries.
