SIU Police dispatched for fight at SIU Carbondale

Southern Illinois University Police have responded to a report of shots fired at Lawson Hall in Carbondale.

An SIU spokesperson says that there are no known injuries, and no evidence of shots fired.

Campus police say there is evidence of an altercation and are investigating.

Campus police tell Local 6 they have the area secure around Lawson Hall, and are searching nearby buildings.
