Man wanted in connection to deadly shooting

Marion, Illinois police are looking for a suspect in a deadly shooting.

The Marion Police Department says a man was shot in the 300 block of West College Street Monday evening.

30-year-old Michael Reed had multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for Jack Thomas Junior as a suspect in the shooting.

Thomas was last seen driving a maroon 2004 Chevrolet extended cab truck with Illinois license plate 1652628-B.

Anyone with information on the shooting or the location of Thomas is asked to call the Marion Police Department at (618) 993-2124.
