Murray-Calloway County Hospital offering free screening
Murray-Calloway County Hospital’s Wellness Works program will offer free community health screenings in May.
The screenings — provided to detect diseases in the earliest stages — are free to folks in the communities visited by Wellness Works.

From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on May 5 at Trigg County Senior Center, 127 Joy Lane in Cadiz – Lipids and glucose screenings (A 12-hour fast is required, drinking water is okay).
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 6 at Lowe’s Outdoor Vendor Event, 1400 Lowe’s Drive in Murray – Blood pressure screenings.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 7 at the Mayfield-Graves County Senior Center, 901 North 15th St. in Mayfield – Blood Pressure and Heel Scan screenings.
From 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 11 at the Center for Health & Wellness, 716 Poplar St. in Murray – Blood pressure, heel scan, waist circumference, Body Mass Index (BMI), and pulmonary function screenings.
From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on May 12 in the Spring Creek Health Care Station 3 dining room, 1401 South 16th St. in Murray – Blood pressure, BMI, heel scan, pulmonary function and waist circumference screenings.
From 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on May 15 at the Stewart County Senior Citizen Center, 111 General Rice St. in Dover, Tennessee – Blood pressure and heel scan screenings.
From 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on May 19 at the Weaks Senior Citizen Center, 607 Poplar St. in Murray – Blood pressure and osteoporosis heel scan screenings.
From 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on May 20 at the Calloway County Public Library, 710 Main St. in Murray – Blood pressure and osteoporosis heel scan screenings.
