Brumbalough sentenced to 20 years for assault on Benton’s “Bird Dog”

Marshall County Circuit Court Judge Dennis Foust tells Local 6 that he sentenced John Brumbaloug Monday to 20 years for the assault of  Donald Duke, also known as Bird Dog, who was 76 years old at the time of the attack. 

Duke was stabbed in the neck during the assault, which took place in August, 2014, and money was stolen from him. In August, nurses at the hospital Duke was treated at said the knife missed a main artery and his spinal cord.
